What To Expect

During the first 28 weeks of pregnancy, most expectant mothers have one appointment every four weeks, then biweekly. In the final stretch, appointments are every week. At each appointment, your weight and blood pressure is measured and your urine tested for protein, glucose, or infection. Each visit also entails a physical check up to monitor the health and development of you and your baby.

We Accept High Risk Patients

The physicians at the Vitae Clinic are exceptionally experienced at managing high-risk pregnancies. Whether there is an underlying health condition, or you are beginning a family later in life, we have the expertise to care for you and your baby. To ensure the best delivery experience, we deliver at Seton Medical Center, centrally located at 1201 W. 38th Street. This gives moms and babies needing more complex care access to Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists and the wide range of services and sub-specialists of Dell Children’s Medical Center.
